Drivetrain eaton superchargers
>>does anyone know what the model number might be for the JCW supercharger that eaton makes? I may be able to buy this directly from eaton.
M45, the same one that the MCS comes with. The only difference to the JCW unit is a pulley (virtually 15%, something like 14.67%) and "coated" internals which is suppose to seal better to help make more boost. These are changes that JCW makes themselves and can't be bought from Eaton. Besides the coating sounds like snake oil from everything I've read. So just get a pulley from any number of tuners is the moral of this story.

According to Mike Cooper in a magazine interview, the coating is to better seal the boost as Paulmon wrote. Whether there is more to it I don't know, but that's the reasoning Cooper gave. If it was for heat purposes also I would think he would mention that since reducing heat would be a big selling point.
