Autologic ECU performance upgrade

autologic performance upgrade R-53
I Just had an autologic ecu performance upgrade flash done to my 2005 MCS. I have a 15% pulley,Craven CAI,MSD coil and colder plugs, Alta catback and JCW 380cc injectors. The upgrade to the ecu made a huge performance improvement,it was like night and day. I drove the car for a month with all the mods before the ecu upgrade and the mods improved the performance from stock considerably but the ecu upgrade made double the power I was feeling. The car performs like it has an additional 30 hp which I know it doesn't . The upgrade made a very positive improvement to my car. I am very happy with the results. I would recommend it to anyone. That is my 2 cents for anyone looking for a solution to improve the ECU program to enhance engine mods.

2005 chili pepper red MCS, Alta 15%pulley,Craven CAI, MSD Coil, colder plugs, Alta cat back,M-7 strut brace,kw coilovers,Alta lower control arms,22mm rear sway bar.

So glad you are happy brother! Your MINI really surprised me! Its funny how some MINIs feel much stronger than others.

I will warn you though... I am sure people are about to come out of the woodwork saying the money would of been better spent one someone else software.

Come back anytime, even if its just to chat.

No Worries Professor, I researched the info out there and talked to guys like you who have good first hand practical knowledge and then made a decision. The mini mob of arm chair experts can say what they want but I am very happy with the outcome and love the way my Mini performs. Thanks for your help and great service.

Are you going to post a dyno chart?

Was not put on a dyno. He stated how the car felt afterwards. Autologic is a canned tune like the GIAC and a few others. We send in the file to Autologic from the car, they make the changes and send it back.

Not the best by any means, but good for most folks looking for a canned tune that has the full backing of Autologic and our shop.

Does this tune require the purchase of a flash tool or any other sort of piggyback? Any range of prices? Im north western IN, so not far. Been debating 380-400cc injectors but always get scared off because having to take somewhere to tune.

Racerx99, how did it drive after you installed the jcw injectors? I was under the assumption changing out the injectors almost required a tune or else it wouldnt run right, or if increasing to 400+cc may not run at all until tuned

380s will run with the OEM tune, but updated software will make better use. This tune is uploaded into the DME via an Autologic scan tool. So the tool is what we use as a non-dealer repair shop to read into all the systems within a BMW/MINI. You wont be given a device like a flash tool. Please PM me for pricing as I am not a vendor and do not want to publicly advertise.

I drove the car about 60 miles with the JCW injectors before the Autologic upgrade and it felt the same as the stock injectors until the Ecu upgrade, After the upgrade the car felt like it had 20 more HP. I am going to take it to a dyno soon ,I am guessing at 200 plus wp. I might be surprised ,I will post the results.

conforti is shark injector. Autologic is a full diagnostic tool, never heard of it being used to tune, but I know it's capable, cool deal.

autologic install price

The install cost me $550.00. I shopped it around and asked for quotes from several shops that do this in the midwest and the prices can range up to $700.00. I feel like I got a fair price. The Autologic system intself that the shop owns cost's around 17k I think.
