Love the hoses.. man I cotta get on that.. PRONTO!
yeah I was kidding about that Duell intake.. That cost them $15 dollars to make...losers

I'm happy with my JCW intake.. but I'm gonna try the AGS-R from M7

I'm data logging the temps from my stock one now until that gets in. I'm intersted to see how that performs.
(I got a deal on one from a member... not paying $600+ for it)

not liking the straight hose attaching the two blue steel pipes on the hot side. It should have a curve molded into it ,to get it away from the cam chain cover.

But if you're going to replicate it I have extra Samco hose had to buy a 3ft pc of it

ah yes I see what you mean. Does it rub?

Do you feel any difference with the less restricted airflow?
I feel like maybe you could get a little more low end.

Hi, Put the Helix on at the same time so I don't know, but my guess is that you couldn't measure the diff in power .
I have a stiff motor mount that does'nt let the motor move around so there is not much rubbing.

oh wow.. yeah thats gonna have issues later.. Just the vibration alone with rub through if its touching that cover...
On the R53 the metal Line to the AC condenser would rub a hole in it from just tiny vibrations against this plastic edge.
Maybe put something around it for protection?

its shame that the pipes can't come together better the bracket should be modified so hoses or pipes fit better. The stock has the same issue, nowhere to go.

I just wish they wouldn't plaster their name all over the hoses. I'm trying to figure out a way to custom fab an all metal setup - mandrel bent so there are minimal welds.

did you change/ modify the bracket to allow the pipes and hoses to fit better?
