2008 r52 cabrio question about motor mounts....???

i have a 2008 r52 cabrio with automatic trans. and notice the motor kinda rocks and moves alot when , well lets say i stomp on the gas and come off the gas.

my mini has 29,000 miles on it.

are there better motor mounts i can use to make the motor sit firmer in place.

what do i need and where to get them?

thx in advance

if you want to stiffen the motor up the bsh lower mount is the best one i know of. i have the race bsh mount and i dont think it could get much stiffer then that without me welding the motor to the frame. way also sells the tsw upper passenger side mount. i currently have both of thoes mounts one my car and i love them. i origenally got the upper tsw mount from way because all the fluid leaked out of the one that comes with the car and i wanted to do a little upgrade. and i eventaully got the lower bsh mount because i wanted to really make things tight and id say the bsh mount is a dramatic difference from the stock mount i had. the bsh mount is one you can really feel as soon as you turn on the car. the tsw not so much. i dont think the tsw will really change it that much for you i really only did it because i had to replace mine and i didnt want to go oem. doing just the bsh mount by itself tho will really work for you tho i think. maybe just do the street bsh mount tho unless you dont mind it being kinda loud inside the car which is one thing i love about mine
