I went catless this weekend, which is paired to my 2nd cat deleted DPB magnaflow. Its LOUD. Fine for normal street/city driving, but painful on the highway(and im one with lots of tolerance for drone). I also have a video, but seeing RS's hatred towards us "offenders", I'm not going to post it because it has my license plate in the video, and knowing his expressed ways, he'd turn it into authorities and they'd be on my doorstep trying to inspect it. Plus, I only drive it on the track anyways, which allows me to be catless, since its some magical arena that cleans up my emissions and fumes being released. I just trailer it there with my turbo disel truck which likes to leave huge trails of black smoke on the way there..... LOL

(the last part may or may not be true, I don't want to admit any catless guilt on here).

I will post a video once I take one without a license plate in it.

I saw the vid. It is legit. And it's really deep. It's beast

 

I had one on mine...was a normal Invidia though. There is a video on youtube of it...

Going catless makes the exhaust much more raspy...and the JCW exhaust is pretty raspy to begin with. Catless on JCW exhaust sounds mean for sure...but it is raspy.

That's why I loved the Invidia...nice and deep...even after going catless, it stayed deep, but had a wonderful snarl to it.

 

I hope the same can be said for a catless with a Magnaflow. I have a feeling it's going to be LOUD!

 

Yeah Erik has a magnaflow in the vid with his catless dp and it's badass with a res.. I'm wondering how it's gonna sound with my catless and no res magna

As far as I can recall only Alta made a 3" DP, but I don't think it was cat less and I don't think the make it any more. That might be a tough find or a custom, a.k.a $$$$$$, job.

You might find a used one in the marketplace.

 

Damn well i might have to hook up a 2.5 to my 3" system.. i guess when it comes time to upgrade my turbo ill custom one on

 

My brother has an Evolve catless downpipe on his f-JCW. I hate the sound of it on anything other than full throttle. One word: obnoxious.
