Where to get aFe filter cleaning kit in Canada?

It's about time to clean my aFe blue Pro 5 R filter. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time tracking down a cleaning kit for it. I tried New Level Motorsports, but they wouldn't accept Paypal (refunded with no explanation) and were pretty rude when I asked about it, so they're out.

Will any filter cleaning/oil kit do?

Thanks, looks like they won't ship the aerosol to Canada though.

You should only clean filters about every 20k miles. Cleaning them too often will actually damage the filter.

Hmm, thanks Way, I didn't know that! I just assumed since it was starting to look dirty, it may be time for a cleaning. However I've probably only driven 3 or 4000 miles with it, so I guess I'm pretty early.

I also suspected it was not as loud as before, but perhaps I'm just used to it now

Have you considered the merits of the Pro Dry filter for the aFe?

That's what I had on my previous R50. I abhor dealing with the mess of oiled filters. The dry filter is so simple to clean and maintain, and I detected no appreciable loss of performance.

If it's hard to obtain a cleaning kit up there in BC, it might be a viable option for you.

That might be a good option for me. I wen't with the oiled filter just because it's what they had in stock at the time. I'll give that a shot
