Alta Stg 1 Recorded Gains

Hello,

I picked up a 2nd hand 2008 R56 Mini 6MT on Monday, and today I installed Alta's Stage 1 kit (AP and Filter)

I recorded pre and post flash gains using Dynolicious for Ipad- 3 runs each

Coming from RWD (6.0 GTO 6MT) to FWD so my launching needs work, but here it is

Settings

Weight: 2858
Drivetrain Loss: 20%

Temp: 68-70F Low humidity

Stock Runs:

1. 0-60 @ 7.45 Sec
EST HP @ 170HP

2. 0-60 @ 7.37 Sec
Est HP @ 169HP

3. 0-60 @ 7.29 Sec
st HP @ 167 HP

Post Flash, 92 Oct Stg1 W/TPS

1. 0-60 @ 6.75 Sec
Est HP @ 209HP

2. 0-60 @ 6.18 Sec
Est HP @ 218 HP

3. 0-60 @ 6.26 Sec
Est HP @ 211HP

I wasn't slamming the gearbox or redlining on these runs, shifting around 5500-6k- Id say I was running the car 7.5 out of 10 since I like things to last me a few years

So far so good, it's very drivable and if you aren't a maniac I expect you'll see the same MPG's. I will be taking a 2000 Mile road trip next week so I'll update this thread with MPG #'s and the reliability of the tune once I return.

I made it back from my trip. The Avg MPG was right at 35, mostly Interstate with 200-300 miles of twisty backroad fun. So far so good, the Alta'd mini got me there and back with no trouble.

I prefer the linear throttle mapping vs the standard. The standard is too touchy for daily driving.

Nice gains! I have the Dynolilicious on my iPhone too. It's cool to use for the G meter!

It reads high like a dynopak on crack, but the gains seem to be on target. Nice increase.

I wouldn't trust those HP numbers for anything. Way too high personally.
And your 0-60 is a tad slow. Mine did like 5.7 or 5.8 on the basic stage 1 tune.

The HP numbers are for reference only, they are not hard and true numbers. The HP gains are probably accurate enough.
