Just got my 2003 Mini S back and......
....it needs some help.
My son has been driving the car for the last two years and I finally got it back when he left for grad school. Yes, it is in good shape by some miracle.
I apologize in advance for asking but after spending a couple of hours searching the forums I could not find an answer.
The car has a 15% reduction pulley on it installed back in 2004 by Randy Webb and a K&N cold air intake. At that time I had the ecu remapped with a kit by a company whom I cannot remember. The ECU was reset by the dealer not knowing it had been modified and I would now like to get another remap.
My question: What are the best current options for a mini like mine to get the ecu tuned? I live in the SF bay area. Are there any reliable off the shelf products or do I need a custom tune. And if custom is the route, do any of you know a good shop in the bay area.
Thanks for the help. It is great to have the car back and I am really looking forward to getting it all tuned up and back into fighting shape!

Jan at RMW (Revolution Motor Works) is known as "the" tuner for MCS, and I'm pretty sure he's in SoCal somewhere.

I don't have any interest or affiliation, just the most common name tossed around on the board.

We do custom tuning but we are located in GA, I would suggest checking out Mynes Tuning they have the Bytetronik software that has some really great options with it.
