oil catch can
motor mount / torque arm
others that i haven't thought of?

I second this; prolong engine life (OCC) and better shifting feel (arm insert).

spend 400 and get
1. aem water/meth injection and enjoy zero carbon build up zero superknock with the benefit of cooler intake charge and advanced timining and always have overboost available regardless of temp .

2.hotside muffler delete.

3. if you have more than 15k miles new plugs

keep stock intake
keep stock airfilter
keep stock exhuast just remove 2nd cat
keep stock intercooler
keep stock hot and cold hoses
keep noisemaker

1st there are 2 cats. Just thought I would throw that out there. OCC is a could one. So is the insert. But is that all you have to spend or all that you want to spend?

Easy choice. Torque arm inserts from NM-Engineering. It does make a big difference in driveability, especially under high loads.

signed . Just did this last weekend. Did it myself, took an hour or so (hardest part was finding the best way to put the MCS on jack stands) and is by far one of the best mods I've done, especially for the price.

Well that explains 10 mph trap with a heavier modded jcw vs a stockfish mcs lol. I hope to trap 100 with just an alta tune when ever I have the $$

Hows that water/meth injection on the R56? Was it expensive to do?

Install and setup is a breeze and picked up the kit for $300. uses about a gallon of meth for every tank of fuel.

You are only off 3 tenths of the stock automatic cooper s that was at the track.

there are a few things that are cheap and will help you meet your goal of 100 mph.

tires are huge ,car runs 13.ohs and pickes up a couple of mph on non runflat 215/45s.

intercooler is kinda restrictive I would replace with a finned copper or aluminum tube .

add meth with a 200 hp jet

ice the car down

Well my mods don't do much... And the manual actually runs a tenth slower time then the auto if I remember correctly, I have a manual, need to work on launch and im already looking into different tires when my run flats are gone. I wouldn't do meth on my daily driven work car plus my gf drives it so I don't want her monitoring anymore fluid lvls then she has to.

Just use the windsheild washer bottle and keep a extra gallon in the hatch.

meth helps keep everything carbon free! Plus added protection once you get a tune.

Well I might be interested in doing that if I was trying to go all ou with this car but I just want to do basic stuff, make it more efficient, reliable and fun to drive. I have an 02 mustang gt with a built short block, ported heads cams intake, full bolt ons and some n20, for more fun
