I don't have any first-hand experience with lowering springs, since I went with a full CROSS coilover setup. It was great because I can adjust ride height independently of shock travel, but considering that most of my miles are on the street and not the autocross course, I probably wouldn't do it again because the CROSS setup is more of a race-only item. Frankly, the ride is pretty harsh on the street and at almost $2400, they weren't cheap.

I didnt even think of the gauges, where would be a good place to put them. theres not a whole lot of room by the tach, unless you went up the side?
I'm running a boost gauge next to the tach and an oil pressure and water temp in a gauge panel beneath the toggles. The gauges match the factory ones and look stock.

Nope.
Jan of RMW was scheduled to do a tune session at a garage here in New England, and I got myself on the list of folks who wanted him to work his magic. Worked out great, very happy with the results.

Wow! yeah, I looked into some coilovers, such as the v-maxx, and the hsport touring coils. I think those will be for a later date down the road, so for the time being i might just do the sway along with the lowering springs.

Nice! i just ordered a boost gauge actually, and the housing for it. I think one of my friends are going to help me install it. He has a GLI and has the same gauge so he has an idea how to do it.
Did you do yours youself??
