Just this past weekend I was driving at a spirited pace. I entered the road way taking the throttle almost to red line in first then shifted to second. When I shifted I was back on the throttle pretty quickly but noticed my RPMs stayed high but the car didn't accelerate. Same deal for third. I let off the throttle and let the clutch catch and noticed a burnt smell. Since that incident I have been taking it pretty easy on the clutch. I have a sneaking suspension that a clutch replacement will be necessary soon. I have an 03 MCS with 173xxx on it. Do not know how my miles on the clutch since I am not the original owner. I will be looking into replacing it soon but wanted to know what you guys have used or enjoyed in the past. I am leaning towards the Competition Clutch from WMW. Tell me what you suggest.
