Just wondering if anybody has done this "mod"? I was looking at the mini madness one and it's kind of cool but pricey. Also, how about adding the shroud for the power steering fan? Any impressions of either mod or difficulty installing either?

Thanks in advance.

I have installed the power steering fan protector. Easiest install of all the mods I have completed.

I added the Moss plate as my first mod. It has saved me more than once from roadway debris kicked up by the car in front of my on the interstate, where an emergency lane change was not an option due to high traffic flow. Very worthwhile upgrade over the stock plastic piece IMHO.

I'll trade my Moss black, minus one bolt for the stock bit it replaces. Has a good 20k miles on it.

(would really like to lose 33lbs up front)

Had my Mini less than a week when I grounded the front spoiler and the undercarrige. 1st mod: Moss SS skidplate, needed it within a week going over some rough pavement/potholes. You can always unbolt it for the track, but you can only wish you had one when you need it! It isn't the most sturdy of mountings, but just about the best insurance you can buy!
