Can I prevent valve build up?

Fellow Mini lovers,

I'm picking up a new JCW this weekend.

Are there any preventative measures I can institute so I don't have to go seafoming things down the line?

Thank you!,
Gene

Sigh.

Wrong section.

You guys have the GOOD engine and don't have these ridiculous problems.

I'll repost.

That's not going to stop valve build up on a "direct injected" engine
