check that the crankcase vent hose (that vents to the intake pipe before the turbo) has been clipped into the crankcase. Sometimes the engines are missing the little clip.

If you can, post a close-up photo of the crankcase

i have oil leaking around mine too. i will post some pics when i get home tonight.

Excellent! Thanks Short Wait - The torque spec for the valve cover bolts! Been looking for this for a while and am going to replace the cover tonight. 9 ft-lbs.
