cracked valve cover

i cracked the valve cover on my r53 and need a new one asap. are there any aftermarket options? the stock unit is rater plain, i wondering if i could change it up a bit. thanks

I went through the same thing.
Could not find any aftermarket unit.
Picked up used one for $50.00.
Valve covers are plastic, might try Devcon or something like that.

i bought a used valve cover off member here and i have seen people post pics of them in red, any suggestions on what to use? thanks

Remove all fitting, valves, bolts etc.
Really clean surface with dereaser.
Take it to a good power coating place. they will do the best job over a can of spray paint.

Mine were bad too. I purchased a new set from the dealer (They were not terribly cheap) but in the North east, you can't find nice ones. In other places used are probably good as new.

THere are studs of different sizes since some cables use the long ones to clip to..
