pullet ignition upgrade from alta

i have a 2005 mini cooper s.. i am thinkin about purchasing the ignition and pulley upgrade package from alta performance..will the car need to be tuned or is the stock ecu be good enough with the extra boost? How many lbs of boost will my car have with a 15% pulley? Also what hp range will i need before i consider a tune and a bigger fuel system?
thanks ahead for any input
cheers

The stock ECU will compensate fine for the pulley, these cars run rich as it is. With a 15% pulley you'll have about 15lbs of boost at max boost. For ignition upgrades we recommend the plugs, but honestly there is no HP in the coil pack. So unless you need coil cause it is corroded, then it is a good idea. Also the Screamin demon coil puts out more voltage than MSD coil.

Check out our Pulley package it has everything you need, and will save you $$. http://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-pulley-package.html

If you really feel you need the coil and wires we sell those too, which would still save you a little.

As for fuel injectors, you don't need those till you do more upgrades like heads and such. The stock injectors for a pulley mod is just fine. Same with the tuning, you can get more power with tuning, but the stock ecu compensates pretty well.

For just a daily driver we recommend the 15%. It will make good power and not spin the supercharger faster than necessary. The 17% will work for you also, but the belt will wear slightly faster. The bigger difference is you get slightly more torque on the low end with the 17%. 95% of the pullies we install are 15%, just fyi.
