vlave cover

im pulling the valve cover soon to swap cams and the bolts holding it down are rotted out like crazy, any suggestions? thanks

Do you mean the bolt beads are rusty? Hit them with some PB blaster or other rust penetrater and try that. If they start rounding, then try some vise grips. The valve cover bolts aren't torqued down that tight.

Get new ones before removing them, but they should come out ok even if they do look like they have been in Davey Jones' locker for 200 years. Mine did when engine was cold.
