I like modifications and always trying something to be different and powerful than the others, especially in my city, Istanbul. There are lots of R56s with Alta parts. but I guess I am unique now with HKS equipments.

you should really know, The evolution process is still going on.

I had started with some ALTA parts on it firstly such as everybody does :

added full Alta Exhaust



then, I had installed Alta CAI, Alta Boost tubes and inlet hose tube.

.... Finally ; This season I decided to convert all parts to HKS ones.

 

Get ready for your cold side boost tube to get a hole. It is already rubbing on a valve cover bolt. It is only a matter of time before you have a boost leak...

 

after uninstalling alta parts, I got a huge package to install my r56s

I want a turbo timer for my MCCS but was concerned about it working with the computer and all the gizmos in the MINI. Is it an easy install?

 

i was wondering seeing that you got the HKS EVC which is a electronic boost controller, does it even work properly on the MCS cosidering everything is controlled via the ECU.... cause these things work a treat on the older *** cars

That is a very cool setup for the dash.

 

can you post some more detailed pictures of the new intake installed please.

 

It must need FCON to work properly of HKS EVC as you mentioned. I got Fcon but we are waiting for connection diagrams from the UK for it.

when we would have done it, there will be three options.
Economy : 0.7 bar
Normal : 1 bar
Performance : 1,3 bar.

I will also connect HKS Turbo Timer with Fcon too. need forthnight

 

i say misleading thread til at least a HKS GT2540 replaces the k03/04.

 

who said there is no turbo upgrade we are thinking of it surely.

just curious.. why is ur mini US spec? did u import it from teh states when u came back from University?


I'm interested to see how you're going to run the car on F-Con? are you using the V-pro gold?

is there anyone in Istanbul with the HKS software to read/write to the ECU?

are u going to run parallel to the stock ecu and only control engine functions?
