Drivetrain Meth kits: IDC v boost type kits
Meth kits: IDC v boost type kits
Ok another meth thread.
I have been running a custom alky control meth kit for a number of years now and run dual maps one with a meth tune and one without. As for the information that you can't tune for a boost type kit this is BS - you can, just depends on the skill of the tuner
I have continuously read and heard that the Aquamist/RMW kit is the best kit on the market and is the easiest to tune.
I would like to see some hard data to back this up...... What sort of gains are you seeing post meth tune on a M45 car?
Does anyone have before and ater dyno's pre and post meth tune using the aquamist kit?????
Thanks

.Like I told you in another thread, like you I thought my boost system was great until I switched to an IDC system. What you still don't get D-Man is that set up right, a boost type system can come close to an IDC system in regards to HP.
That's not in question here. It's the way it works to deliver that power. You will never get it until you try one for yourself. For me the difference was amazing.
If you really want to learn more go here:

This isn't just a Mini argument. Guys on the Subi and Evo boards that have tried both are saying the same thing's as me. It's just better.....
Longboard
So I must assume that the gains are minimal at best......
As for buying an IDC type kit I would if the gains were proven. If I did buy one it would be from the person that makes them not an agent or re-seller
I know a couple of guys on MT have the kit so it will be interesting to see what gains can be made with a tune....
Stop Trolling start searching, your questions have been covered in many threads. Starting your own threads to troll is no different than going into other threads to troll. This thread is done and unless you start paying attention to the site guidelines you will be too.
And for those of you who can't search your own posts, here is the link to the thread that D-MAN participated in when the graphs were posted and numbers listed: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...eth-kit-5.html
And deeper search will lead you to this post as well..... https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...6-post204.html
RESPECT
When posting, both members and vendors must ALWAYS be respectful of fellow members and vendors. Personal attacks, trolling/baiting, deliberate antagonizing, and flaming will not be tolerated. If you feel you are being attacked, report the post or private message rather than replying or flaming back. However, do not use the report bad post feature to "cry wolf" when you are in fact the instigator of the demise of a discussion. Doing so will result in an infraction or strike.
