I really like the dual tips on the Alta exhaust, but the different look of each tip due to uneven exhaust flow needed to be fixed. I decided to paint the insides on the tips black. Hopefully that will last and keep them looking balanced.

very nice! I was thinking about doing this to the outside of my tips as well because I'm doing the opposite and de-chroming my car

Hi temp paint should hold up for quite sometime I would think. But if powder coating is the direction you go, there was a guy in NAM Marketplace with a set of intercooler horns who had powder coated them. He has the means to do the tips too.
