guestamate my HP

So much for staying stock...

So now I am running the Alta CAI and 3" exhaust from the DP back. Butt dyno gives me a up but since there are no dyno's near where I live (that I know of) I am stuck with guessing my HP.
The exhaust is a Alta Catback mated to the stock DP with a custom 3" connection minus the second cat. This mod alone was a nice kick but with the intake, we will see.
Anyone running something similar and have dynoed?
Next mods will most likely be a Helix IC and possibly the Remote RMW tune.

Like I said, so much for staying stock...

If you like what you have now, wait till you get the IC and Tune, It'll be a different car entirely

dynolicious for the iphone gives more accurate results than a g-tech and it's cheap (if you have an iphone). It's not as accurate as a dyno but will be more accurate than basing your numbers off of someone else's car.

I would set it to 0% so you get the WHP, its a more useful and accurate number...

I keep my draintrain loss to 0% and my weight to 2850lbs

Ya I have an Alta intake with boost tubes and JCW catback exhaust. I am running around 153hp because the intake is making my car run lean. So when I put my FMIC on and have it tuned at the end of the month it will be all good.

all r56 turbo cars are lean at low rpm(even with a tune) and very rich after 5000 rpm.

with the car weight at 2679 (Wikipedia) I pulled 166hp today with wheel spin in 1,2and a chirp in 3rd and 4th on a damp road. I don't think that this is too darn bad!

Acceleration was .53g's
I ca't wait till summer to swap out the winter tires and hit a dry road!

You only used 2679? You have to account for the driver and gas too. If you use a bit more weight, you should get a more accurate number which will be more

Well it was running lean enough that the guy wouldn't finish the dyno. So I don't consider that normal.

Did the Dyno Operater use a o2 sensor at the downpipe or put a sniffer in the tailpipe?

afr at 2000 rpm are around 15 to 1 and then go to 11 to 1 over 4500 rpm

A lot of them aren't used to seeing AFR's from a direct injection car...and the curves will make them go

Only after being tuned did my car ever see AFR's that rich.

Maybe its a JCW thing...but most of the S's I've seen run way lean. Back in the day when I first got tuned, it took Jan forever to try and fatten it up...it just didn't want to give fuel.

A lot of them on stock programming will do a weird lean spike around 5000-5500 rpm...where it will go to about 15:1...certainly makes your eyes go

Looks like a Jcw ecu and map may be the key to running a BIG TURBO

It was a sniffer I am pretty sure. I am still getting it tuned anyway because I am putting on a FMIC.
