the hood release on my 2007 r56 is broken... dealer quoted at least $200 to fix it...

i'm looking for the r56 service manual... the above TIS online doesn't speak about the hood release... anyone know where I can find bentley publisher's service manual at a reasonable price (or free)?... (its $140 on amazon.ca)

if you wanna look at just the owners manual for free or download it to your computer for free all you have to do it register on mini.usa website in the owner lounge then pick what year and mini you have to view the complete factory owners manual.

Try searching for "BMW TIS ver 3.4.2". I selected "BMW 2005 TIS 3 4 2 EN download free! by BzYok9Bno Collins on ..." which led to "https://prezi.com/ejrtzwdmwh3b/bmw-2005-tis-3-4-2-en-download-free/?webgl=0". Near the top of that page you'll find "DOWNLOAD LINK ===> http://tinyurl.com/zk2jagz". That link is as far as I went --- it led to a free trial. There's several more choices available from the search, but probably none are completely free.

When I bought my '07 back in 2010, I also bought a DVD with this TIS. I don't remember where I found it --- probably E-bay. I'm told it's not available anymore. The DVD also has a "SYS ADM" which is needed to make the TIS interactive --- not very useful without this feature.

This same DVD also has a load of BMW TIS's --- probably why it can be found by searching BMW instead of Mini Cooper. You should also know that it was produced in Dec 2007, so it doesn't have all the latest updates. The few procedures I've used appear to be identical to what the dealer techs use. I consider it a great supplement to the Bentley manual. I haven't tried searching for an updated version.
