just looking for someone who has a k&n intake for their mini. is the intake good? will a strut tower brace clear the intake? give me all the details on the intake and that would be great. undecided between the k&n, AFE, and m7. the forums expertise is need to help decide.

 

Yes i have a K&N Intake on my 07 Cooper S and it works Great. Had it in place now for a good 50,000 miles or so
but i have not had any other intakes to compare the Power gain or anything like that to

Go for the Alta. Foam is a better filter and easier to clean.

 

If you live in California (Montery?), the K&N is CARB certified if you have an 02-04. Our MINI with all of it's other go fast goodies and a K&N intake did 267 whp on a dynapak and it clears strut tower bars.
