Where does this powerflex part go?

I ordered the full powerflex engine mount set from Outmotoring, but I can't for the life of me figure out where this goes for upper engine mount. I just assumed it would be in the place of the OEM rubber, but it looks a bit too small in diameter for that area? Where else could it go? I've tried to search for instructions online with no avail.

Thanks much in advance!

It fits over and under the stock mount. the protrusions on the yellow parts
slide into the recesses of the stock rubber mount.

LOL! I feel like a 5 year old trying to put square blocks into round holes Where do the two small plates fit? I'm just assuming on top/below the powerflex? Just making double sure.

Thanks a lot cristo

I'm thinking about putting both the upper and lower engine mounts in. Does the upper mount really add all that nvh that everyone complains about? Some say the benefits outweigh the negatives, some say otherwise. How bad is it?

I settled on the bottom large mounts, one piece of the upper large mount,
and neither of the small mounts (nor the transmission mount).
A bit more vibration with a/c on at idle, but otherwise very close to stock
with less engine movement.

Just finished the install, wow my car vibrates a lot It doesn't bother me though. It's only at low rpm, once you're on the move you hardly notice it.

I sell a ton of these with great results. If your unsure I'd sell you just one of the bushings to start with and let you see a difference from it alone. And you can see if you get NVH from it. Usually people will notice more the first week until the bushings kinda settle in. Then they are just fine. Got them in stock if you want.

I'm pretty sure I'll just go with both the upper and lower along with a tranny mount bushing. If the nvh isn't unbearable, I'll probably be able to handle it.

+1 - Among other Power flex inserts and suspension bushings, I also added their yellow inserts for the transmission mount.

Initially the car's dash shook some at idle and there was somewhat more tranny noise....Now some 3 weeks later NVH is all but gone.....

A great product.

The bushings will settle in a bit.

I rather like the added vibrations, I can tell how relatively fast I'm going just by the feel of the vibrations in the car.

Are you saying the nvh is constant?

In my car, yes, but not as much as when they were first installed. Note: I have a full set from Ireland Engineering: upper, lower, and transmission mount.

I can feel the vibrations in the steering wheel at all times. No where near enough to numb my hands though, so that is good. Vibrations at idle are just enough to shake the wheel up and down a bit, it's better than when I first put them in and the whole car was shaking apart.

Revving the car from idle produces vibrations throughout the car but above 3,000 they are mostly in the steering wheel and are engine speed dependent. So by working the throttle to keep the same vibration frequency, I maintain my speed on the interstate - I don't use cruise control.

My vibrations are no where near the ones as nabeshin described above. They are small and only noticed when I pull away from a standstill. On idle I hardly notice it.

I must admit, after a few days the vibrations are getting less and less. I'm rather happy now with the outcome.
