Drivetrain RMW vs Magnaflow II
Yes, people do have issues with any vendors parts. It happens.
I think what most here are fed up with are the exaggerations, lies, continued self promotions, the slamming of any other vendor who dare compete. The burning of bridges of those who once educated Jan in the first place.
Jan has chased away some of the best vendors that were once here, so he can now pound his chest as king of the hill. A whole lot of us are pretty tired of the take over of this forum by RMW and those that have a stake in his company.
The "brainwashing" comes from the fact that there are many who are being held financially hostage by RMW. EZ was a prime example. He wanted out before it got worse, and being he received what was promised to be a tried and tested part and it was not, he absolutely deserved his money back. I know for fact that there are those in the same boat but won't risk insulting Jan, which seems to be so easily done, and just getting the cold shoulder and being stuck with a faulty part and being out a whole lot of money. So they remain quiet and patient, hoping that his promises will work out eventually.
Yea, not "brainwashed", but I would say more like held hostage.
As far as I understand, ez is only a very small fly in the RMW ointment as far as credit card refunds go.

He then saw that his local vendor had a new header he felt was better. Rather then allow RMW to fix the problem (per their policy) he wanted cash back so he could get the other header he felt was better. I called him on this but he claimed I was way off the mark. Well, now that he got his CC company to credit him the money he's bragging on his local vendors web page that he's finally on the list to get that header he's always wanted. Eventually the truth come out.

You still are "way off the mark"
For some reason you like to think there in an underlying issue with everyone. If he had secretly always wanted the other header, I'm sure he would have purchased it in the first place.
We all have agreed that the RMW header is a nice piece of gear. The vendor on the other hand - the same can't be said. Other people can say that the vendor is great, and that is perfectly fine too. It is just how that person handles issues on an individual basis.

Well first of all he did not really try to help me, that was what started this whole mess in the first place. Second of all I DID want the code thrower fixed, the fact that Mynes made a better product had and has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING so stop trying to drag a top shelf TUNNER into your excuse. Thirdly what this thread IS about is the FACT that both you and Jan will not back up your claims so please keep it on topic. The bottom line is I have goten my money back and that your road show has been exposed for what it really is. And as far as all the cams (that are not his) or the race headers or the coil overs or the motors, I have heard thru the grapevine that someone has taken my course of action on one of Jan's fantastic 2.0 motors and has gotten back a charge back of some 26 LARGE ya baby.

Most people?? There is no "most people"! There are about 10 guys who keep slandering RMW over and over. It's the same 10 in every thread that this stuff starts in. I pointed out those guys a few weeks back and got in trouble with the mods so I won't do it again.
The best part is that of those 10 only two have ever owned an RMW part. You included buddy. But there you are slandering RMW any chance you can based on second hand knowledge and hearsay.
Your whole statement about brainwashing makes no sense at all

Your post is so very enlighting and so proves what I am talking about.
Your "list" is what intimidates SO MANY from dare posting the truth. It has been shown over and OVER again that if one dares question RMW and it's business ethics that they get SLAMMED and are now on some kind of list made by you of all people. It's called bullying and intimidation. Who the frick wants to deal with that.
OK "buddy"?

Oh and by the by when are you going to put that "Rotrex Monster" on a Mustang Dyno or a 1/4 mile track or something so we can all compare. ABF is just around the corner and I'm sure that Hubie would oblige. And another question if your "Rotrex Monster" is such a hit, howcome there isn't alot of them "running" around?

He pulled 317 and 272 on the Mustang.
On Church's Dyno Jet he pulled 315 and 260 before turning the boost up to make more HP.
So as you can see I'm feeling pretty good about my numbers

I dont really have a problem the product per se but ALL that goes with it. When I had issues with another product, I posted it on the forums so others would know beforehand issues with said product. The vendor took care of the situation and the best part is I didnt get hate PMs about it. I didnt have people telling me to stop crying and all the other BS that comes along with complaining about an RMW product. I didnt have 10 people attacking me all of the sudden AT ALL. Now when I mentioned something wrong with an RMW product I had LB and the crew up my !@# in less than an hour. It is amazing. Really, it is.

Going back on topic, and not owning any products from RMW nor Mynes...
I just don't understand why ez1 kept mentioning Jan and talked about seeking Jan for a replacement when should he be going to Helix (the rep/vendor) If my brand new TV broke, I'd be pissed about Sony, but I'd bring that up to Best Buy first won't I? I'm not trying to bash on anyone, but I just don't understand the way he approached this situation.

I go straight to the manufacturer more times than not. If "Best Buy" were not to help me, I would go to the manufacturer also. I'd honestly rather deal with the person who knows the product and will be the one in the end who will "fix" the problem. Best Buy is just there to honor a "warranty".

You mean to seriously tell me, if you brought a brand new TV, and it isn't functioning properly within the first week or so, you would bring this up to the manufacturer instead of the place where you bought it? How about for a refund? Would you go to the manufacturer or the vendor/store? The OP bought a RMW part from Helix, but made threads to to draw out RMW for a refund and only RMW; never mentioning Helix. I'm not saying RMW handled this situation well in terms of customer satisfaction, but the customer wasn't exactly super either.
So if I bought a nonfunctioning M7 product from Alta, I should seek Pete from M7 for a refund? And if I bought a Detroit Tuned BPV from Helix, I should seek D.T. for a refund? You support the idea of making threads to draw out the manufacturer for a refund + shipping and probably even going as far as to refunding the labor I paid for the part to go in?
**** that. Most of you guys are defending your selves and your position because you guys can't stand RMW or support RMW. I'm trying to look at the real picture and the way he dealt with the situation from a middle stand point.
His problem is resolved because of a credit card charge back. But where is that charge back coming back from? Helix. Thats who all those threads he was making should have been targeting in the first place. He wants it fixed? RMW gave him options for the solution. He wants a refund? Go to Helix.
Make threads to bash on Helix instead of RMW? I have no reasons to defend for RMW as I don't have anything that would associate with them; but I do feel that it was unjust that you created countless threads to seek out a refund from RMW instead of Helix. I'm happy you got your refund and got your end results, again I just understand why you decided to take the approach you did about this situation.

Wow..come back from lunch, and lots of activity keeping the thread on top.
Bryan, I know you and Jan are friends...and that you're on here defending him, there's nothing wrong with that.
I was just doing the same thing for ez1putt when one of your RMW representatives, Intense, decided to come in the thread just to get a dig in.
As far as the rest of your comments directed at me, I think that M3NTAL, onasled, mdbsat, and ez himself took care of that...and rather well, I might add.
And your last statement to me...
I'm not bitter at all, I just want people to see the real deal with Jan/RMW.
Respected? I don't know about that, but I do know I help people on a daily basis on here.

Well - you obviously aren't the OP MrCooperS, so you obviously don't know what all the OP went through and why he would or wouldn't want to drag Helix into this. We aren't talking about television sets here.
Do you happen to know how Helix responded to the OP? I sure don't, but can imagine that if they didn't want to deal with me - I'd have to go to the source.
What if Best Buy said..."We know there is an issue with your TV and the manufacturer isn't working with us about the issue - your best bet is to go directly to them" Would you still have the same argument?
You can't compare our small niche to something like a big box electronics boutique.

I draw out the manager and I tell them they shouldn't be selling a product if the manufacturer isn't backing them up. I tell them they should back up a product that their representing. Worse comes to worse, I send out a EECB. And I seek my credit card company for a charge back, which the O.P. did and was successful. I'm just saying a lot of crap could have been avoided if he used his own consumer skills.
Doesn't really matter but Best Buy's policy on returning defective products is issuing store credit to match the original products price so that the consumer may purchase a replacement. Sounds reasonable to me and something vendors could have done?
With all the threads he made about this "situation" I think we all pretty much know what the OP went through. I'm not comparing this to a big box electronics boutique. I'm just using it as an example of how you can deal with the situation in a different approach. I don't think it was cool what he did with RMW and at the same time I don't like how RMW doesn't seem like they value their customers very much.
