Nitrous is relativley safe if installed properly,I would suggest running a system that only comes on under wide open throttle an no more than 20-30 seconds at a time. You can inject it into each cyclinder seperatley but kinda risky,I would go with one of the fogger type units with single injector into air intake/throttle body. Also be sure you are getting enough fuel to avoid an overly lean condition. I plan on adding a setup like this soon myself...good luck
Hi Guy's...
This week M7/Venom will have the final product available specificaly for the MCS/MC. It's a fully computerized
system preventing any kind of lean condition as the computer will either shut down the nitrous or add fuel by
overriding the ECU by adding extra fuel for super safe use. we are also offering our new 410cc injectors that will fit
under the intercooler giving an extra buffer when pushing hard. System price complete with specific wire-harness
steel braided hoses and a aluminum plate to hold the bottle securely in the trunk for approx $800.
This kit will be sold by Mini Mania so check in with them this week or call me directly.

Ps. We will give rides in the MCS with Nitrous at the Long Beach Poker Rally!

Nitrous works by providing a concentrated source of oxygen to the combustion camber. The result is what your catalytic convertor is designed to catch, nitrates. If you're willing to cause the premature death of your cats, go for it.
When running nitrous, you can either run a "dry" or "wet" system. The dry system is just nitrous. Wet is nitrous and fuel. The dry system is simpler to install but is typically limited to about a +50 shot. Most ECUs run rich enough at full throttle that a dry system is safe. But it can't be operated under any other conditions because there isn't enough fuel. Detonation is very bad when your pushing it. The wet system is more difficult to install becuase you have to run a fuel line. For cars with a pressurized return line, this means running multiple lines. Some people have been able to use a fuel pressure regulator to get more fuel thru their injectors under high demand conditions but this only gets you up to about +75 hp. A single fuel and NO2 fogger is the simplest way to get +100 hp. For over that, you'll need individual injectors. One company actuatlly makes a set that screw into the stock fuel injector threads and than have a hole to receive the stock injector. Now you're looking at +150 hp. Anything about that level and you're asking for a new engine/trans/diff/etc.
You need to decide at what level you want to play and than lay down the money. Each manufacturer has ways of upgrading their products. But you should spend your money on all the safe things right away because what fun is watching from the side lines.
