we got the price for dyno now... It's $800 for a day, which means everyone who is participated for tune will spilt the cost.
we will need to have at least 10 cars to make it happen, so it will be $350+$80=$430

So... 1fstmini is gone... but event is still going on.

If you live in the NY area or willing to take the trip out here, Mike and I are in the works on setting up a dyno day to offer his tunes which will be around mid April or later. As talked about in the upgrade thread, any performance combo can be tuned on ALL types of fuels ( even e85 ) . We will need a minimum of 8 cars to get this started so please PM me if you want to get on the list. Tuning fee is $350 per car plus dyno time which is $800 A day, so everyone will split. Mike will also consider a group discount per tune depending on the the turn out. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Mike will also require a $200 deposit to secure your spot on the list in which the remainder of $150 will be paid on the dyno day plus the dyno fee which will be announced.

This will also be open for anyone to come down and watch on how a tune is done as well as a get together to see other peoples mods and to shoot the breeze.

Mike has been so kind to offer the Bosch 550cc injectors at a low low price of $300 INSTALLED during the day of the event. This is only extended to the people who are signed up for tuning. Please contact Mike right away to place your order. This can only be offered when Mike receives the $200 security deposit to add yourself to the list.

We now have our place to hold this event. Vinny Ten Racing will be hosting the Dyno Day. If you haven't heard about this Nissan GOD, he is known for building the sickest Nissans in the world with record setting cars with over 1000hp. We are still working on the dyno pricing and I will post that up as soon as we come to an agreement.

since i live right here on the island, i can come down anytime during weekday + sunday.... sorry friday & saturdays need to work. thanks

 

if not already tuned in the next two weeks i could do 5/15-17 and 5/22-24. in june, every weekend (fri/sat/sun) is good!

 

I'm open to pretty much any weekend, or i suppose i could take a day off during the week if need be.

Oh great, I guess Sunday will be the best time for everyone. I understand everyone is busy. So by opening up the date I encourage people to come at you best time and have fun.

And is this still at Vinny's shop? I haven't seen him in YEARS! I actually need a new mechanic to work on my Nissan 300ZX. I'd like to talk to Vinny again.

Don't mean to intrude in the thread, seeing as I am obviously not involved in this tuning party, but doesn't Arnel have an R56? I thought Mynes wasn't ready to tune the R56 yet. Just a heads up.

we got the price for dyno, which is $800 for whole day. and i'm going to set the day to 6/14/09. Due for insurance regulation.. vinny has to run the dyno and make the runs.

 

i have reset the date to 6/14/09, because mike is busy in may. also mike said we need 10 cars to roll this event. So we still have lots of time to get people join this event.

 

If anyone wants to see how a Mynes tuning party goes down check out this thread from the past weekend So. Cal event . Lots of VERY happy customers and some were previously " tuned " as well .

Ok guys, the count down has begun... Arnel doesn't count b/c he's only doing dyno pulls... So that puts us back at 7.

Let's get 10 confirmation by 5/10/09 and deposits by 5/13/09 so we can book the tickets/hotel... otherwise, we will have to push it back some more or wait for the Remote Tuning software to come out.

what were your mods and base numbers at the dyno session?

 

Mini was not Tuned. 17% pully and intake. 170hp at wheels.
