i'm interested in getting the Dinan CAI but was wondering if it will clear my JCW strut bar? Anyone with the same setup?

if it doesnt, then i'll probably get the DDM Works one.

Dinan CAI owners! do you know if the Dinan is taller than the OE box or the same? i looked at it last nite and the jcw strut bar is sitting on top of the OE box right now so if the DInan one is taller, it may have a problem fitting.

PM Blimey Cabrio. I know that before he got the JCW airbox he had the Dinan setup. I don't think he ever had the JCW strut bar but he could tell you if it was taller than stock or not.

 

Partsman has the Dinan, so give him a PM. Of course, why you are running a STB is beyond me, but I ask that of all those running these things. I have yet to see any evidence they do anything other than get in the way of changing the oil filter and push the bonnet up so it looks like *****.
Oh well...

 

I just put a Dinan CAI on. It is not taller than the OEM box.

I think your safe! I just checked mine and no part of it is higher than the ECU box next to it. I think you'll like it. Built well and it's easy to install.
