M7 OCC DIY Baffle

Some have put tubes or some sort of media or both to increase the efficacy of there OCC. Well I wanted to go a little bit farther

A .030 thick piece of stainless steel, with a graduation of holes drilled in it, not pretty but I think it will work

a little silicone to seal the edge

inserted in to the OCC

what it looks like before I put the cover on. I have two pads on the out side and one on the in. Let me know what you think

great job, very nice.

conceptually similar yet different - I added a downpipe on the inbound side (3/4 of the way down) w/ holes drilled on the sides for the last 1/2 of the pipe from the end then stuffed similar medium.

The fact that you left the upper portion w/out holes should accomplish the same thing - great air travel path via medium.

Your set-up should be very effective.

Looks good. I should do something like this to my alta can. I just stuffed it with steel wool and called it good.
