SOLVED - HELP! Air in ASC during bleed

Yes, I've done the dreaded "Don't ever do this!" thing and accidentally sucked the master reservoir dry using a vacuum bleeder.

Now it seems that I can't get rid of the dead brake pedal. I've run 3 bottles of Motul 600 thru it, now am putting $7 bottles of DOT 4 thru it, but to no avail.

Time to go to the dealer? I've been doing this for 4 nights now.

PS - been pumping the pedal since I found the problem. No more vacuum bleeder.

Most likely got air into the ABS portion of the system. You'll have to take it to the dealer to have it cycled.

Yep. Took it in. Hate to do that. Pedal totally to the floor the entire way - pumping did not give any pressure. Hand brake and gearing down for a 7 mile trip on some pretty tricky roads. Not fun.

Ha, it was not the ABS or the DSC at all - it is just me being a dumb@ss. I put the front calipers on backwards. Pure rookie mistake - looked so simple when I was trying to figure out which caliper went on which side after I painted them.

Guess I was wrong.

Having the calipers upside down does tend to create quite a bit of air pockets in them.
