Well I think the title says it all.

I bought my 02 MCS about 3 weeks ago, and I love it. yesterday I had the ALTA V2 17% pully installed. It is amazing, I feel like this is the way the car was MEANT to be.

I'm picking up the ALTA intake (no silicon) from a local member this week, and I plan on doing the one ball. I hope that can hold me over till I can afford headers and a tune.

thoughts, comments etc?

How much difference did it make? Dose it get to the power sooner?

I've got my 17% pulley on order and plan on installing it myself next weekend, along with the Alta intake and silicone hose.

Adam, what spark plugs do you recommend?

I have been using the BRISK plugs, one temp range cooler than std. You can check them out on our website by clicking HERE. Cooler plugs will help reduce the chances for detonation improve combustion. Certainly an inexpensive insurance policy when installing a 17% pulley. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask! Thanks again!

It will make a huge difference. Especially with the pulley intake combo. I have a 15% pulley and its hands down the most cost effective first way to gain power.

Is it a hard install, or did you have it done?

I had it done which adds to the cost. But a lot of people on here have installed them theirselves. There are how-to threads on how to do it. I would probably have a tuner who has installed hundreds of them do it though...

Thanks Adam!! Plugs ordered. I've changed a MINI clutch/flywheel , so I'm not scared of taking this on.
