Megan Racing catbak on Cooper S?

Does anybody own and/or have sound clips of a Megan racing exhaust on a Mini Cooper S? How close to stock does it sound? Any rice sound to it?

It must not be a popular exhaust for the MCS.

I'm running my 04 MCS with the Megan Catbak.
It's not ricey at all, no drone, louder than stock but pretty mild until you get on it. Fit and finish were very nice but I had an issue with a weak weld and
I'd warn that you"ll get little or no response from their customer service and would hate to think where i'd be if I had a serious warranty issue.

Hello Casper,

Sorry to hear there was an issue with Megan. As a Megan Dealer I have not had that same issue and that might be a good reason to buy from a dealer, our buying power gives us and you more customer service. While I have not had any issues with the Megan Cat Backs I did have one issue with another part and they were fast and easy to work with.

Dealer not direct...guess that falls under hind sight is 20/20.
Just suprising that it took 7 weeks for them to respond with a luke warm response. Zero follow up after that point. So what I recieved in the box was all they were going to provide. In a world where they are competing for hard earned discretionary funds, the cost of a timely phone call from a literate person with a reasonable atitude would have insured them rave reviews.

Just so you know, I had a weak weld that snapped in the first week (300 miles). Fixed the problem myself (daily commuter) and was only trying to give them a heads up to a possible Quality Control issue.
