Drivetrain Oil Drain Valve
Oil Drain Valve
I was wondering if anyone has had any known problems with these oil drain valves...

any problems with seal failure or failed valve?
these look like something good to have to make oil changing easier but my whole thing is the lever failing or the pressure popping it open
any thoughts?

The Engine Oil Drain Valve has been tested and granted "Genuine Parts" status by 6 major motor vehicle manufacturers in Japan, including Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Isuzu. These approvals were not granted easily and gaining them was a testimony to the quality and durability of Engine Oil Drain Valve. In the United States, the Engine Oil Drain Valve is being installed at the factory level on some of the vehicles/equipment made by Ford, Kohler, Freightliner, Caterpillar, JLG, GEHL, Ingersoll-Rand, Sullair, Toyota, Case, Magnetek, Timberjack, Lincoln Electric, Vermeer, Baldor, Terex, Deutz, Phaser Marine Generator and etc. "
Do a search, there are many threads.
I disagree with your proposed supplier's description tho,
"Will NOT work on R56 or Clubman! That model coming soon."
I don't agree with 'coming' as the placement of the drain flush on the bottom of the GEN2 engine's pan makes use of this device virtually impossible. Who'd want something sticking straight down off the pan?
