SOLVED: OutMotoring: what do I do now?

UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED See post #4.

I ordered a set of JCW 380s on Friday, May 30th, from OutMotoring to get ready for my RMW tune thats happening on the June 20th. The checkout process was quick and easy.

Through subsequent email exchanges I requested a tracking number once it's been shipped and told them I'll need them before the tune on the 20th, and they replied saying they will send out te tracking number as soon as it ships, and that the injectors have been taking 4-6 days to get, and they should have them today (June 6). However, I just visited their website, and it says..."IMPORTANT: We will be closed from June 6th to June 14th and will begin processing orders on June 16th. Thanks for your patience with the delays in shipping your orders."

I really doubt they can get it shipped to me by the 19th for the install (from OH to WA) if they start processing orders again on the 16th. But my tune is happening on the 20th! Through the e-mails they didn't mention at all they will be closed for 6 business days even when I explicitly said I will need them for the tune happening on he 20th, and there were no notifications that they were back ordred/out of stock when I bought them. I am very furstrated right now.

Aaron at Outmotoring is a class act, I doubt they will screw you over. They have a "contact us" e-mail on their website. You don't mention it , but I assume you tried their phone number, right? You can also try a PM through here, Aaron's screen name is OutMotoring.

Good luck!

I did try their phone number. It went straight to voicemail. I assumed noone's at the office because today is June 6, and as they stated, they'll be closed.

I'll try a PM. Thanks!

UPDATE: It's been solved.

I was able to reach Aaron via PM and he informed me that although OutMotoring will be closed for a week, he will be shipping out my order on Monday (he just got the injectors 1/2 hour ago).

So as usual...great service from OutMotoring (even when they're "closed").

I ordered a set from Helix on Monday June 1 for the very same tune event. They arrived this morning in Everett WA 3 days early (scheduled to arrive on Monday). Kudos to the BOTH vendors for providing such excellent service!

Projek7: Check your rubber boots if others will install it to make sure that there are no boost leaks. It happened to me. I wish that you were Saturday so that we can drive together.

Hey I'm planning on pulling the IC out for a quick wash before the tune. I'll check on the boots when I do that. Thanks for the tip!

And yes...driving down together would definitely be more fun...
