Drivetrain Mods on an R56 Challenge Car a secret?
So the bilstein's are more durable then. Doesn't necessarily mean that it performs any better tho... Yes, that's it! I've got a set of KW V2 and they are great!
I did some research and i can confirm that they do use the KW 2-Ways.
So are you saying the exhaust is identical apart from the catalyst? I think that is the difference if I'm not wrong.

Well then, my advice would be. If you mainly use the Mini for the track get the Bilstein PSS9, a good set of AP Racing Brakes, and light rims.
If you've got an everyday use and every now and then you go to tracks spend less money and get a KW V2 kit, some other BBK cheaper than an AP kit, and a set of rims that you like with enough clearance for the breaks.

Well my car will spend most of its time on the street while it's new, but even still I do like to run ultra-stiff suspension all the time, so I'll be speccing my KWs with linear springs, with 50-70% more than the standard rates, and the dampers revalved to match.
My Factory JCW comes with 12.4" Brembo Four piston calipers and lightweight Borbet Challenge rims, so i don't think I'll change them out. Some semi-slick Bridgestones or Falken RT-615s and the KWs should be plenty for the time being. When my pads run out I'll put some Ferodos or Mintex pads in there, with braided lines and Motul RBF600 fluid

They're not any lighter than any other 17" MINI rim. The lightest alloy is still the GP 18" rim @9kg, still not 'lightweight'http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...heel_tire_tech

Check Ultralite wheels, great racing designs, quite lightweight rims!
