Just an FYI,
We have talked a little in this area about modding your ECU. One suggestion I had is to purchase a second ECU so that you can swap them out when you go to the dealer.
Cost for new ECU from dealer - $1100.00

This was quote from Universal Mini. Of course if you take into consideration the fact that they have their mini's marked up $6k, the ECU probably only costs $2.00.
