Brake modifications?

Recently I had some work done on my 03' S and was given 07' and 08' S' (different times) for the loaner cars. The boost was much different between my supercharged car and their turbo cars (duh) but the other huge change was the braking power. My brakes are squishy and don't respond nearly as well as the new ones. Are their any modifications that can be done to my 03' (aside from going Brembro) to get that kind of feel?

The brakes that come standard on the '07/'08 "S" are the same as the '02-'06 JCW brakes. The newer ones are not painted the same color but the stopping power would be the same.

You might just need to replace the fluid if you have not done that, water in the fluid can cause "squishyness". Replacing the fluid would also address a second potential reason, air in the lines.

Flush the fluid, put in some better fluid (ATE Super Blue or similar). You could also replace the stock rubber brake lines with some braided stainless ones.
