EBC Redstuff pads for R55 S

This morning I just installed EBC Redstuff pads for the front brakes of Clubman S. The model number of the front pads is 31789C. These pads installed easily as the only effort was to push back the brake piston with a 10" C-clamp. After doing the fronts I proceeded to do the rears, no dice. I purchased 31701C and they are visibly incompatible. On the inside pad is a metal wire clip that probably works on the JCW rear brakes of an R53. On the EBC site the R56 rear is listed as the 31701C. I will return the rears to autopartswarehouse.com and investigate further which part number is compatible with the rears on an R55.

More pics from the rear install. Last two pictures are of the control arms which are U shaped. I can see where a solid or tubular design would be more rigid around turns

I think I may have found the pads at minimania.com http://new.minimania.com/web/Item/G2.../InvDetail.cfm. I sent an email to EBC to verify that 31931C is the rear pad for the clubman, defintely looks the same. If anyone has any experience with this model pad, let me know.
Thanks
