2007 block in a 2006

can anyone tell me if the block of a 2007 MCS is the same as a 2006, looking for a 2006 MCS block , but might have a shot at a 2007 block with less miles if its compatible.

No its not the same unless it came out of the convertible. Its an all aluminum block designed by peugeot.

I'm sure a Prince into R53 conversion is possible, however it would be much easier in every respect to just go buy an R56!

The R56 engine block is all aluminum? Why couldn't they have done something so cool with the R53?
