hello im about to change my oil and transmission fluid. For the oil i was thinking of royal purple and for the transmission fluid i was thinking of trying something called syncrono mesh (spelling?), anyone have any experience with these? Is there a better product(s) out there? Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

 

red go with Redline oil products. do a search. I hear good things and race
proven.

 

The stock transmission fluid is, for all intents, the best there is.

As for oil, I go with the 0W30 German Castrol.

Torco, redline, royal purple, Amsoil, Elf, all make great premium oils.
The standard off the shelf brands at WalMart will also work great.

Depends on how much money you want to drop down. www.bobstheoilguy.com has tons of threads on the best 30w oil with lost of tech data to back it up.

 

I just changed my transmission fluid and oil today. I used Redline MLT and Mobil 1 full synthetic, the 15,000 mile stuff; 5W30. My car has had Mobil oil and fuel since it was new. Call it brand loyalty. Anyway, I've only had part of a day with the new transmission fluid, but it seems to have smoothed things a bit. I'll see if it does any better when it's up to temp.
