Drivetrain OBX header + stock cat = loud?
OBX header + stock cat = loud?
I'm going to put an OBX header onto my stock cat-back soon. Wondering if the cabin noise level (when window closed) is higher than those who have one-ball cat-back but stock header?
I know there're quite a few who run OBX header with stock cat-backs, can you chime in here?

I have obx,stock cat,milltek.
The obx brings out the "sophisticated" growl of the milltek.
It sounds as loud or smooth as you want it to!
No drone.
It was a marginal sound difference when I added it to a 1-ball. There was no real increase noise levels in the cabin. I noticed a tonal change but no one else did. I would think adding a header to a stock exhaust, they were be very little sound "difference".
With stock header and one-ball, the exhaust does sound quite sporty under acceleration and there is no drone.
However, I noticed that it gives some resonance/cabin vibration at idle. Once rolling, the resonance/cabin vibration goes away. This resonance is only noticeable in the back seat but the vibration can be felt easily. This resonance is very light and I've asked a lot of people and none seems to care. However, from time to time, I need to take my baby in the back seat and I just feel that the added vibration/resonance with one-ball is not comfortable for her.
I'm thinking to return back to stock cat and just add the OBX header. If the header just deepens the stock cat sound. I guess that OBX header + stock cat should sound better than the stock header + one-ball cat, because of the resonator.
Is that true? Please advice as I'm trying to decide if I should put the OBX header on, or sell it at a loss since I haven't opened the new box yet. My car has 15% pulley and Alta CAI (yes it screams during high RPM, but I'm more tolerable to high frequency scream than low resonance). I'm more into performance than sound, especially low to mid-end torque for spirited street driving and rare events.
