missed my apt at the dyno, fedex was late. got the chip on, car its odd. hit fuel cut once. but no cel. then re started and car good. then light throttle and the car cut out for a sec. happened 2 times now. kinda odd. could be the cold weather. it was 27 deg. also maybe the car has to get used to the chip. idk, time will tell.

 

yes the ultra cold temps can casue havoc with the programming.
Try to go light on the throttle until it learns the new curves. Does sound like tit is working. Also, don't forget to check the plugs to insure they are nice n tight

 

had snow today to i didnt get to test the car. should be nicer tomorrow. get to warm the car up a little and see how she pulls. hasnt cut off or any thing so that a plus. seams to be good

got to run the car tonight, cool and dry roads. car very odd again. car will pull like hell, then fall on its face. no cels all night. its would to through a spell of back fires int he exhaust. light throttle it cut out again a few times. when i talked to jeff he said it could be a bad harness. gotta get one sent out.

if i get this sorted out im in love. when everything talks it spinns the tires into 3rd and 60 comes fast, but when its not talkin i feel like im driving a non s with a blow off valve haha.

 

Wow sounds like an ECU problem? Does the problem go away if the chip is removed?

 

Hmm doesn't sound good. Do you have a boost gauge? It's possible boost is cutting out.

 

gotta say, alta has some of the best cust service, they have taken good care of me and my MINI. I have the ECU on the way back to get looked after and see if its harness. I also have the boost guage commin back with the ecu. had to wait for the r56 kit
