Anyone know of a Gilmer belt/pulley kit for MCS?
Hi guys
I've been thinking - when it finally comes time to replace the SC due to wear and tear, i'd like to explore the Vortex kit avenue. If i were to buy one of these kits from the people developing it, i'd love to have a Gilmer pulley/belt kit too!
These sound incredible... And super reliable.
Does anyone think it's possible, given the amount of space i the engine bay?

You would need to machine all custom pulleys, I don't think anyone makes a Gilmer belt drive for our cars. The only problem you may run into is with the crank pulley/vibration damper, machining one of those would be difficult. You could always machine a lightweight crank pulley with the cogs for the Gilmer.
I don't see why you couldn't do it, as long as you keep the belt/pulley width close to that of the stock belt drive.
Off topic...I have some good friends in Australia, man i'd love to be there.

Yeah Australia is a cool place to live! It's warm here too at the moment!! The mini-modding scene isn't huge though
