boost gauge install

just put my 15% pulley on and now its time for my new autometer boost gauge. i have one question though. what vacum line do i tap out of to hook up the boost guage. if someone could explain or take a picture or even direct me to a DIY that would be awsome. i tried to use the serch fuction haha but i didnt find nething

go to the electrical section, boost gauge is well covered

As the referenced thread in the electrical section points out, many people (including myself) connect the vacuum line under the fuel pressure regulator (which is under the intercooler). An alternative that has been suggested to me is to tap into the hose on the bypass valve. I plan on switching mine over at some point.

You just need to tap into the MAP line. Its directly under the left horn that goes into the intercooler. You can tap it near the fuel pressure regulator but its easyer to do it at the intake manifold because you dont have to take off the intercooler. All you need are some long plyers

That is the BEST place to do it!

Also here is a link to our gauge kit. Click on instructions and it has color photos showing where this is and how to connect it. It would be the same for the AM gauges as well. Good Luck!
