Has anyone ran the Gintani tune? they calim 13 hp on 93 octane...499$....anyone running this? LDG tune or gintani?

 

That is a conservative number, I know they like to have the car on the dyno for a tune. (rather than just a canned tune)

I'm waiting for their new dyno to be installed before I get mine done.

There are some people on the boards that are running their tune right now, they may chime in with more.

They do have the ability to emulate the Mini ECU to get a very specific custom tune that I'm not sure if any one else offers at this time

 

they tuned Recoop's car with every known mod and with the gintani and it made 224whp and 160 something tq

 

I'm not sure why you're quoting me, but thanks for the info I'm sure the people who already have a tune will chime in if they choose to do so.

Alta is working on getting it to market and Jeff Perrin(Alta) has it working on his Elise right now. I think I saw a pic on here somewhere showing an engine bay with a Hydra unit installed. I'll look for it.

 

Where do you get 93 octane???
92 is the highest octane in Seattle : (

 

anywhere is South Carolina/east coast. the real nice thing is driving down south and getting 95 at the pumps! and thats INSTEAD of 93 not AND!
