Drivetrain shark????
I had done my shark injector with MM back in 2004 and liked it in combination of the pully and the K&N filter box. But that was over 3 years ago, things have changed dramaticaly since. That flash is an old 1st generation program that is used with certain mods like I mentioned.
There are much better tunes, ie, Giac, Dinan, MTH and Hydra that are out there or coming out that will be much more effective for today's Minis.

I have the 91 octane Shark Injector on my car & it's one of my favorite upgrades for the bolt-on upgrades I have: Alta intake, 15%/2%/Altanator pulley combo, plugs, wires, coilpack, Borla race exhaust, etc. There's a big difference in the shift points & IMHO makes the car a lot more fun to drive.
Yep, I removed it a couple of times in between mods to see the difference & it was night & day. It raises the rev limit approximately 200rpm & makes the car feel a lot more "torquey". The only part I don't like about the Shark is the warning on the installation instructions about car being "permanently disabled if install isn't performed properly." I usually sweat up a storm until the final green light on the plug-&-play module blinks.

I just found: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/project_mini.shtml, so the answer looks like +200rpm. Oh, SayGoodbye thanks for the Magnaflow high-flow cat! I'm almost ready to take the header & cat to the welder.

You'd have to add 50 HP to his dyno chart. Ask him how much his wheels weight.
I have the 93 Octane Shark way back in early 2005 after my 15% pulley upgrade. There was not much choice then and I was worried that with the pulley it may run too lean...but I guess I was wrong because A/F ratio of stock ECU with 15% pulley was reported later (maybe after a year) that it is still OK.
I like it as it made the car smoother, raised the rev limit by 200 rpm, removed the top speed limiter (although I have not ran full speed yet). Not bad for $359. There is no dyno in my area but I am guessing that the gain is only 8 HP when coupled with CAI, one-ball exhaust, and 15% pulley.

The shark...
is a tune authored by Jim Conforti of BMW tuning fame. That said, it's one of the earlier tunes done, and while it will do all that is reported by current users, the newest ECU flashes from DimSport software are unlocking more than the tunes of yore....

I'd guess the difference at 2-3 hp, more or less. Very slight.
It was smoother.
But $359?
Just say NO.

thanks guys.... i have a 17% pulley, alta intake, and alta exhaust.. if i do get the 93 octane shark would i have to do anything else(injecters, fuel pump) or is it just a plug and play type of thing?? and will it work for my 05mcs on the door it says its manfacutred in 07/04??? thanks for the help i have just been lookin for something for so long.
Make sure it'll work on the '05. For some reason, I thought Conforti never did a version for cars later than '04.
For good reason, because it never caught on due to word of mouth.
Again, I would NOT recommend this purchase.
If you insist on buying a remote tune, check out GIAC or MTH.
Frankly, a drive to LDG would be the most bang for the buck.
