Wow that's really cool! I'm sure you'll keep us updated but I'm really looking forward to hearing how things go considering how customized your car is now!

I wonder if John will offer any setup changes on your car in addition to the tune?

I'll be home on paternity leave starting July 20th so I'll be able to keep up on all the posts!

Sounds like the re-emergence of WeenieX .

I drove 14 hours straight to the dragon. Okay so my back hurt for a week but sacrifices need to be made here BOB ! Suck-it-up

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few - AND we (the many here on NAM) need to know that you have gotten evey pony possible out of that car.

On another note - you know what is insane? Your posting on NAM seeking someone who is sane. You keep this kinda posting up and you will get booted from NAM for sure.

PS - I'm not gonna volunteer for I already know what you would say

I am going to drive it myself..... hopefully Jeanne will go with me and we can investigate DC..... something I have never done..... as far as hanging around for the tune... if Jeanne doesn't go I will probably hang at LDG most of the time....... Among other sites, there is a name I wish to visit on the Viet-Nam memorial and that is pretty important ....

That is excellent news. And it would be great if you get to turn the trek into a vacation.

Good luck!

Dang..I was all set to pack a bag and leave my Mini with you while I took yours to the lovely MD countryside. Probaby a good thing since I lived in that area for some 40 years and know the roads I'd be testing your Mini on.

Spider dude ... your going to DC area on July 17?

You think hotlanta is hot ... it aint the heat, its the humidity.

Hope it aint 98 that day with humidity because if you intend to sightsee in DC ... your going to be sweating! There is a reason everyone leaves DC in the summer!!!

You, sir, are a tease! I was going to offer to fly east to drive your MINI to LDG for you! You'll have a great time on the trip. We'll all expect some pix.

SpiderX, you will have a great time at LDG. I drove down there form Canada (also a 10 hour drive) and it was well worth it. I spent a whole morning with John at his shop (which, btw, is awesome) watching him tune my car. Very educational for me and, as a bonus, the roads in the area are awesome for taking test drives in your "new" MINI. Best money I have spent so far on my car!
