I made a few notes in my "Fun at the Track" thread. It was a great day, I shaved almost 3 sec off my lap time. I was already familiar with Laguna Seca, I'd done days there in December and February. The line Jerry was teaching us was radically different than the beginners line previous instructors had taught me. Jerry's technique is to brake late, turn in very late and then accelerate past the apex.

I decided about mid afternoon that I wasn't comfortable with the stress I was putting on the MINI, so my decision is I'll go back to "puttering around" form now on. Though I'll probably puttering a bit faster than I did previously.
