Here is the first video clip from my HPDE at Pacific Raceway. Will be posting more once I get them processed. Lots of traffic, variable track and learning R888, so my best lap of the day is still slower than my best time with street tire. However the theoretical best lap according to Traqmate data should be 3sec faster 1:42xxx, that is something to look forward to once I string everything together into one single lap.

I don't typically run with this club, so they place me with the slower cars. There is excitement in passing every single car on the track, but the risks is higher as well. As you can see in this clip, too many times I've to slow down in mid turn as I gain back all the buffer distance I intentionally left halfway through the turn.

The funny thing is my instructor whom drives an air cooled 911 RS America, was pissed at the cars in front of me for not letting me by. (not in this clip) It was his first time in a MINI, and he was amazed.
