Thunderbolt - lots of pics...

Just a bunch of pics of my car at Thunderbolt:

Some action:

Slight uphill before turn 4:

Can't tell which turn this is:

Turn 14 - if I did it well, this was 85ish mph and using a bit of the curbing you see:

Braking going into turn 5 (left):

Passing my friend Mike who rented this E30 race car (he wasn't flogging it too hard):

Some action in the esses - getting ready to pounce on my friend Steve Sr.:

A better look at the esses:

Down the straight - topping out at 120ish (speedometer reads high, so it's actually less):

The other Mini in my run group:

And this is what happens when you disturb the earth of south jersey, and the mohave, for that matter:

Thanks! I'm not sure of his name, although we did meet because I scared him once when I braked too hard going into the carousel (I had to apologize). He did have a NAM sticker on his car.

Awesome pics. I went there back in August and enjoyed the track. It was weird since they were still finishing up on the construction and the ppl in the flag stations didn't have a clue IMO. As for the track layout, there were alot of long straights which i felt put our cars at a disadvantage.

That was the event I was at (NJ and Delval CCA). You're right - the corner workers were clueless and ultimately dangerous.

I don't think that's S-Driver's Mini. His has four driving lights.
